User Instructions

Follow these steps to install and remove your Freeport Mount Plate.

    Center the Mount Plate to the back of the Power Bar

    Tighten Screws Inside Mount Holes

  • 3

    Locate the Freeport Hole

  • 4

    Align Pull Tabs to Freeport Hole and Attach Adhesive Strips to Plate

  • 5

    Remove Release Liners From Adhesive Strips

  • 6

    Press Mount Plate to Wall and Remove Power Bar

  • 7

    Press Firmly On Plate for 30 Seconds

  • 8

    Wait 1 Hour Before Use

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the product work on all power bars?

No. The power bar must have mount holes on the back surface that are between 3" and 6.9" apart. See list of compatible power bars above.

Will the product work if the Mount Plate gets bent or damaged?

The Mount Plate works best if it is not bent. Replace the product if it cannot be returned to a flat shape.

What if there is a loose fit between he Mount Plate and the power bar after installation?

Apply 1 or more layers of masking tape to the back of the power bar (between the mount holes). This will make the fitment tight and secure.

Can I attach the product to fresh paint?

It is recommend to wait 1 week before use on fresh paint.

Can I use this product inside my car?

It is not recommended to use inside of vehicles because they can reach extreme high and low temperatures.

Can this product be used on brick?

No. The product is not intended for use on brick surfaces. The product will stick to painted, smooth cinder block.

What if the adhesive pull tabs are not aligned with the Freeport Hole?

Reposition or replace the adhesive strip and align the pull tab with the Freeport Hole before you attach the Mount Plate to the wall. Detaching the mount plate will be difficult if the pull tabs are not centered under the Freeport Hole.

How do I remove the Mount Plate if the adhesive pull tab tears off during removal?

Pass dental floss behind the Mount Plate and use a sawing action to cut through the adhesive strip. Carefully peel the Mount Plate away from the wall after cutting through the strip.

What are the guidelines for mounting the product in a confined space?

Align the Mount Plate so the adhesive tabs can be grasped easily. A 6" distance between the pull tab and any obstruction is recommended.

Can this product be used in wet environments like outdoors or bath/shower?

Not recommended for use in wet environments.

Is it OK to mount the power bar to a single Mount Anchor?

No. It is recommended to mount the power bar using both Mount Anchors.

When can the power bar be mounted vertically?

The power bar must have mount holes configured for vertical mounting. Some power bars come with mount slots that allow for both horiziontal and vertical mounting.
